We called AAA Service after blowing out the sprinkler system as we were still getting a fair amount of water from the relief valve in the basement. Sam M came out and tracked the issue to the valve itself. He replaced the valve and set it up so open the valve up and it drains off the excess water… before Sam replaced that valve we had to open this fitting and open the valve and it was not convenient. Exceptional service from Greg at AAA Heating and Plumbing. Greg was on time had the best attitude and was so easy to talk to. He was funny and seemed to really love his job. He was SUPER friendly, professional and personalble. He checked all my electrical (I'm in a condo that was built in the 70's) and is sending me a report with some possible suggestions to improve to protect my appliances and protect from potential for fire. So far very impressed with AAA.

Then Kyle arrived to do my plumbing inspection. He discovered a gas leak at my hot water heater. Their master plumber Roman came within 10 min and he quoted me a new hot water heater. I'm in an older condo and I know it is hard to find hot water heaters for my unit but had checked on supply before he got to my place. The will be back tomorrow to replace. Again very impressed with their service

AAA replaced my hot heater due to a gas leak. Again very impressed with service. The only complaint is I did have to do some cleaning around the closet it fits into and pulled out my carpet cleaner to clean the carpet in front of the closet. They should have put something down on the carpet prior to their work. Thank goodness everything cleaned up. Just wasn't what I was planning to do with my day.

The two techs that serviced my furnaces were very polite and efficient. Nick explained what they they did and the various parts and plans that were available to upgrade the furnaces and maintenance AAA offered. Some of what they described was out of reach financially, but if I could afford it I very well might have signed on. Will use their services next fall.

Tristin came to my rescue on a holiday weekend and stayed late. AAA was prompt, professional, and very communicative. This was especially appreciated as I was quite anxious about the possibility of being without water all weekend long especially with small kids to consider. My shower valve failed (more like exploded). Tristin got shark bites in to help me get my water back on. Got me set up with a great financing option and a return visit to install my new shower valve. Added tub and double sink valve replacements to make it worth the trip. Now I have peace of mind!

It’s a great thing to be able to say you’ve lived in the home you love for more than 40 years without major problems with the house and property, aside front what Colorado weather can provide.

With that longevity comes the possibility of major expenses related to upkeep and that’s where we are today.

After 40+ years of good fighting, keeping the MAIN SEWER LINE clear of tree and shrubbery roots, the system has come to a standstill.

Started calling for professional help to assess the situation

We brought in local, well-known companies to inspect the system and provide us some idea of what was ahead in terms of repair.

We have an insurance rider to help pay for cost of sewer line replacement. It expires at the end of this year when the house turns 50 years old, so the sense of urgency amped up.

The video inspections showed immediately the main sewer line was failing catastrophically.

Clay pipes had 100% percent root obstruction outside and the cast-iron piping inside the house had eaten away after years of exposure to heavy duty drain cleaners.

Major work, inside and out.

Multiple estimates were coming in at $30,000 plus or minus $5000

They were consistent in terms of costs and how the work should be done.

Being a 13 year retiree and given the state of affairs financially in our world right now, this was a tough hit.

As mentioned, the original estimates were consistent, but my wife and I agreed that given the numbers. one more estimate was a good idea.

Turned out to be a very good idea.

My wife had AAA among the group of companies to work with and they sent us Jimmy Goodnight.

Like the other professionals, Jimmy did a thorough examination, including the video inspection, which for me now had become an unpleasant reviewing of a movie that I’d already seen and the knew ending that was coming.

It was what happened after that separated Jimmy from the other companies that had already been to the house.

The other companies had been consistent and confident in their assessment of what was basically a total sewer replacement. There was no discussion of other possibilities or options to get things done and estimates appeared to be done deals.

Before giving us a full assessment and cost estimate, Jimmy walked us through what was going on in the system and what he found coming out to the street.

He also explained some alternatives to what had been recommended already that would minimize unnecessary destruction of 40 year old trees, shrubs and sidewalk.

It was unclear to all the companies involved as to how our house connects to the City sewer line in the street.

The other companies video cameras halted in the same spot as Jimmy’s so they were unable to determine exactly how the sewer line from the house connected to the City and how many feet of pipe would be involved.

They gave us an estimate anyway.

Jimmy’s estimates and recommendations related to what was known and needed to be done.

He was up front about potential for additional costs to the City connection. He advised we make repairs and check the status of the system up to the point he could get to with his camera and determine where to go once we were there.

It was that kind of thinking that made it easy for us to choose AAA and Jimmy’s hands to help us.

Contrary to the other companies, Jimmy listened to us as we talked about our house and how much it meant to us and came up with a much better and LESS COSTLY strategy.

I could share a lot more about Jimmy just in terms of the kind of person he is. It was a pleasure just to interact with him in general.

Even with fair warning that I was an awesome candidate for a Progressive commercial, Jimmy listened to all my questions and provided answers that proved to me he was listening.

Hard to put a price on the peace of mind he left us with.

After two failed attempts to get a plumber to call back and another to show up for a scheduled appointment, I reached out to AAA Service. Not only did someone answer the phone but was more than happy to help, explain and answer all my questions. A plumber was sent out that afternoon and a new toilet was installed the next morning. Everyone I had contact with was friendly, polite, respectful of my home and professional. I will not hesitate to recommend this company and have already scheduled maintenance services with them.

Very knowledgeable and thorough. I have copper pipes (late 60’s house) and they are failing. The job was done professionally and the cost was very reasonable. Sonny, Malakai, Brayan were terrific!!!!!

Michael Wise was professional, thorough and friendly. He took care of my furnace tune-up and made me aware of a potential issue with my breaker box, which I really appreciate. He also took care of scheduling a follow-up appointment with an electrician for a full diagnosis of the breaker box.

Anthony Lupo walked me through everything that needed to be done to bring my breaker box up to code. He explained the process thoroughly and helped me with financing options. I truly appreciate the time and knowledge that he and Michael brought to each of my appointments.
